Carver Fast Track

Our Carver Fast Track program is an 8 week learning course. This course will prepare students to provide emergency medical care to victims of accidents and sudden illnesses. Students will develop skills in symptom recognition, emergency care procedures, and techniques considered to be within the responsibilities of an EMT. Emergency Medical Technicians provide routine and emergency medical care with an ambulance service, as well as in hospitals and clinics. Becoming an EMT is the first step towards becoming a Paramedic.

The smaller class size allows you maximum practice time with our experienced instructors. Our program allows students the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational opportunities. This program exceeds the US DOT/DPH/OEMS guidelines. The instructional staff consists of experienced EMTs with years of experience as EMS educators.

EMT Blended Fast Track :

Class meets Monday through Thursday evenings from 6pm-10pm for hands for lecture & practical training. The didactic portion of this course will be served in person. Students are required to come to orientation night on the first Monday of the program. All students must be in attendance on the first night of class to continue with this program.

Course Materials: Textbook- Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured by Pollack. ISBN: 978-1284080179 (Recommended but not required). Students will receive access to the electronic textbook through the online system. The uniform is not included in the course fee. To purchase a uniform visit the “student uniform” tab on the right. Student Polo, EMT pants, & the student tools kit are required for the course.
