This Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (BLAST!) program was designed to teach of the responsibility to care for a child’s needs and keep the child safe while sitting. When you are asked by a neighbor, friend, or relative to watch their child, you are being given a job that carries a big responsibility. Sitting is more than a way to earn money.
This course is intended for 10-16 year olds looking to become Babysitters.
This program is a 1 day, 4 hour program that is a video and discussion based course where our instructor will discuss:
- Safety First
- Sitter Basics
- First Aid
- First Aid Kits
- Kid Fun
Girl/Boy Scouts can also use this program to earn badges. Please have your Scout leader contact us to set up a program for your entire troop!
Upon Completion of this course students will receive a handbook that they will be able to keep with them to refresh the information from the course. They will also receive a Completion card showing they completed this American Academy of Pediatrics Babysitters Training Course.
